Backyard Office Pods
Backyard pods have become very popular this year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic that forced us to find new ways to work productively from home.
The once-luxury backyard addition has become more than an escape from those you live with, they’re the office environment you crave away from the four walls you live in.
The pods are usually constructed from lightweight FC sheeting, making them quick and easy to erect.
Since they are not considered as a habitable dwelling, for they do not have a bathroom or Kitchen, they do not need to meet the 6.0 stars energy efficiency. If you are looking look for one, make sure it comes with wall and ceiling insulation as a minimum, if it is to be suspended on stumps, it should have underfloor insulation.
